The Reolink RP-PN8 is a powerful network video recorder (NVR) designed for professional surveillance solutions.

The NVR supports up to 12 cameras simultaneously and offers a resolution of up to 16 megapixels per channel. With its very large storage capacity, advanced AI features, and user-friendly operation, it is a modern and future-proof solution for private and commercial video surveillance.

Ultra-HD quality up to 16 MP

The NVR supports cameras with a resolution of up to 16 megapixels, delivering precise and detailed recordings. Whether in color or black and white at night, everything is displayed in rich detail. Thanks to an input and output bandwidth of 240 Mbit/s, the simultaneous operation of multiple high-resolution streams is also easily possible.

The RP-PN8 can be connected directly to monitors via HDMI or VGA and offers resolutions of up to 3840x2160 (4K UHD).

Recording and storage

The RP-PN8 is optimized for continuous 24/7 recording. If needed, the storage capacity can be expanded up to 32 TB (2 x 16 TB SATA), making it particularly suitable for large video archives and long-term recording.

Flexible system design

A centralized solution for video recording and alarm management of all Reolink cameras – wired, wireless, PoE, and doorbells (except 4G models). The system is equipped with 8 PoE ports and is expandable to 12 channels. It supports up to 8 PoE/Wi-Fi cameras and 4 battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras, or a total of up to 12 battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras.

Thanks to this flexible configuration, a customized monitoring system can be set up that precisely meets your security requirements.

Intelligent AI functions for maximum efficiency

With its integrated ReoNeura™ AI, the RP-PN8 delivers a new level of monitoring solutions. These intelligent features save time, accelerate investigations, and minimize security risks.

• AI Video Search: By entering keywords like "white van" or "person with hat," you can find the scenes you're looking for in seconds. Alternatively, you can simply click on attributes like clothing or color – everything runs locally, without cloud fees.
• Heatmap analysis: Visualizes visitor flows, dwell time, and movement intensity. Particularly useful for shopping centers, museums, supermarkets, or office spaces to optimize layout and security.
• Person and object detection: Reliably detects people, vehicles, bicycles, animals, or packages.
• Perimeter protection: Line crossing, zone intrusion and dwell alarms for sensitive areas.
• Intelligent Event Detection (Beta): Reports regarding abandoned or removed objects.

Administration and access

Control is convenient and versatile: locally via HDMI or VGA, as well as remotely via the Reolink app and client. Up to 20 user accounts can be set up, 12 of which can be used for simultaneous video streams. Encrypted transmissions and file protection guarantee a high level of data security.

Design and installation

The compact housing (330 x 272 x 48 mm) blends discreetly into any environment. Thanks to plug-and-play functionality via PoE, installation is particularly easy – no additional power supplies for cameras are required. With a power consumption of less than 10 W (without HDD & PoE), the RP-PN8 also operates energy-efficiently and reliably.
