What is PD Flash Charge?
PD (Power Delivery) Flash Charging improves power transmission with the connection cable and expands the cable bus during use. This offers higher voltage and current transfer performance up to 100W. In addition, the direction of power transmission can also be changed. The standard for Type-C is 5V/3A. However, since the introduction of the PD protocol, this has been increased to a maximum output of 100W. The result is faster, superior charging.
Application examples
With a 60W PD Flash charge, this cable can fully charge a laptop with a Type-C port (such as a MacBook) in just 2.5 hours.
A Huawei P20 reaches a full charge in about 1.5 hours at a current of 3A (requires a charger with Type-C connector)
